PBIS Behavior Expectations
Acknowledgement for Proper Behavior
High School Individual Student Acknowledgement 
  • Each student is working on an individual basis to accumulate as many P.R.I.D.E. Stocks as possible.
  • Staff will hand out P.R.I.D.E Stocks to students based on students meeting school wide P.R.I.D.E. expectations.
  • Students will hand in their P.R.I.D.E. Stocks to the P.R.I.D.E Stock Exchange in the library.
  • When each student reaches certain levels on the stock market, the student can receive a dividend (reward) of their choice.
High School-wide Acknowledgement System
  • All students and staff participate in the Spartan P.R.I.D.E. Stock Company as one team/company working to accumulate as many P.R.I.D.E. Stocks as possible.
  • Staff will hand out P.R.I.D.E Stocks to students based on students meeting school wide P.R.I.D.E. expectations.
  • Students will turn in their P.R.I.D.E. Stocks to the P.R.I.D.E Stock Exchange in the library.
  • When the P.R.I.D.E. Company reaches a new level on the stock market, there will be a class/grade dividend (reward).

Behavior Interventions:  Both academic and behavioral Interventions are determined by data from office discipline referrals, suspension/expulsion data, achievement indicators, and pink slip (late work).

Data drives all decisions made for necessary behavior improvements.  The data team analyzes data from SWIS and shared with the staff.
  • Type of behaviors referred, location, time of day, day of the week, repeat offenders, by grade level, average referrals per day/per month.  
  • Interventions are categorized into the 3 levels described below.
